CBI Services

Welcome Back!

Community Brain Injury Services has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Virginia and the recommendations on reopening from state and local government officials. Governor Northam announced today that Virginia will be moving into Phase 3 of our three phased reopening plan for Virginia on July 1st. With this news, Community Brain Injury Services is pleased to share that we will be slowly resuming in person Case Management visits and reopening the doors of The Mill House and The Denbigh House in July! Case management in-person visits will begin on July 1st, and the Clubhouses will reopen on July 15th, beginning with a part time schedule. More details will be provided as we get closer to the date.

The health and safety of the persons we serve and our staff team is of greatest importance. We recognize that each person’s circumstances are different and for that reason, CBIS staff will be in touch with each individual member and client to complete a safety assessment prior to returning to in person services. In addition to individualized assessments, CBIS has prepared a comprehensive outline to returning to services following CDC guidelines and best practice. Clubhouses will reopen at 50% capacity with social distancing and mask requirements. Health assessments, including temperature checks, will be implemented daily as individuals enter the building. Members, clients, family members, and other stakeholders may review requirements for each program below. Copies of the guidelines will also be sent out via mail. Please contact your Case Manager or Unit Coordinator should you have any questions.
