Working Towards Independence

Community Brain Injury Services provides its members with the tools and services needed to work towards reliable independent employment outside of the program. Both The Mill House and The Denbigh House provide numerous employment services for individuals who are ready to work towards gainful employment. Our Clubhouses are vocationally geared programs that offer an array of vocational supports designed to help survivors of brain injury return to competitive employment.

Employment Services

The Mill House

The Mill House offers numerous opportunities for employment services whenever the individual is ready to work towards competitive employment:

  • Group community volunteer placements
  • Individual community volunteer placements. 
  • Vocational Transitions Program: 20 session classroom-style educational program designed to relearn work skills, such as interviewing and resume development
  • Employee Development Services: Structure 30 workday work evaluation service
  • Supported Employment: Dedicated job coach providing job search and placement services
  • Long Term Employment Support Services: Ongoing job placement and support services
  • Designated Department of Rehabilitative and Aging Services (DARS): Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
